Thirty years of over-the-road experience as a truck driver on every highway and back road in the United States give you an opportunity to see a lot of places. My home has always been in California, and that is where I’m the most familiar. After being injured at work in 2005 I was looking for other opportunities. Two things I was looking at were auto racing and motorcycles, Rodger Penske said it best. To make a small fortune in auto racing, start with a large fortune. Truck drivers don’t have large fortunes to start with, so motorcycles became my focus. I already have one so an on line search of looking at other tour companys, became an idea to do something different. Most motorcycle tour companies look at roads or highways like route 66 or highway 36 and spending 16 days out in the desert, or mountains, and you end up in some hotel lobby doing karaoke in the middle of nowhere, trust me. Been there, done that. There aren’t any girls lifting their tops or dudes partying.

EagleGuider.com wants to showcase biker culture. Freedom rides on roads of this great land, but with a destination in mind that has possibilities to hook up with other bikers and parties that promote biker culture. California is my area. I live 5 miles from some of the most beautiful coastline in the world, Surf City U.S.A. And California has some of the best biker roadhouses in the land as well. With our weather, it’s year-round riding in So. Cal. Northern California has some of the most beautiful highways in the U.S. Weather can be a problem for riding; rain and fog hang along costal Highway 1, sometimes through July, but it is a breathtaking ride. Worth the cold. EagleGuider.com has friends in the motorcycle rental business, but if you prefer, B.Y.O.B. (bring your own bike).
